Over the past few months the Dev team have been working flat out to get our files ready for adding new content. The files we where left with could not be opened by our current editor, which meant it was not possible to add, edit, or read any of the content that we have in game. I am glad to say this is no longer the case.

We are now in a position where we can add, edit and delete content, all the files are now working correctly, AND we have a working editor that will function with the files that we have.

Stay tuned for more development news as we are very busy working on adding new content.

They aren't lies. The problem in this case doesn't lie with the developers, but rather the company operating the servers who have had questionable business practices since they opened. These editors seem to be trying their best, and might even have some solid new content, but it is up to eA whether or not they will upload the WDAs and other files. Therein lies the problem. It seems they've managed to actually get some updates live anyways.

The truth about eA and their servers is - we DO have new content to add, and have already added some of it. We are in the process right now of testing more updates on the test server. The Dev team are constantly working and committed to developing eA’s version of T4C.


With the aid of our SysAdmin (who is an employee of eA) he has been able to establish a secure environment for testing purposes, been able to develop the game the way the players would like to see it AND has provided the support the Dev team have needed to create the new content. To me, that doesn’t sound like a company that doesn’t want to see the game developed. In my experience with dealing with eA, I have yet to find anyone in the company that has tried to block any of the new content or ideas the Dev team have produced. They are just as committed to the development of T4C as the Dev team are.

** Server Updates **

Here is a list of some the updates, fixes and new content that will be released with the next patch.

New Content

4th Isle Peddler :- A new NPC has been created to accept 4th isle items in return for GM Quest Tokens.


We are also introducing 7 new scrolls, these being:-

Scroll of Extended Major Combat Sense - Same as Scroll of Major Combat sense but lasts 1 hour

Scroll of Extended Barrier – Same as scroll of Barrier but lasts 1 hour

Scroll of Extended Earthen Strength – Same as Scroll of Earthen Strength but lasts 1 hour

Potion of Extended Regeneration – Same as Potion of Regeneration but lasts 1 hour

Scroll of Prismatic Resistance - Doubles base resistance of all elements for 1 hour

Scroll of Insight – Increases user's Intelligence for 1 hour based on Intelligence and Wisdom

Scroll of the Sage – Increases user's Wisdom for 1 hour based on Intelligence and Wisdom
