  • Parry for archers?

Question: Do archers gain any benefit from parry?

  • #2
It's dependent on how much strength the character has. So yes they benefit from it, I always get it on my archers. But it's more effective on a warrior.

Parry allows a character to deflect physical attacks with his weapon. This includes swords, daggers, staffs, and yes bows.

        Is parry really strength-dependant?

I have never heard the str dependant part, and as far as i know, staffs dont work.

Can we confirm whether parry does work with bows? I just want to know before I spend 100 points in it. The points may be better off in dodge or archery.

it works for archer, but is much less efective, since an archer goes for 150str max
i never learn on my archers

I'm 100% it works for all classes, as I have seen all classes parry tons of attacks in fights. I have no evidence for the strength dependency but it's not something I made up. I don't remember how I learned it but I'm pretty sure it is.

Im 100% sure that it works with a bow. I just learned it on my new archer im making, i hope the str dependent part is correct, cause i went out the box and made a 300 str archer.

If you parry just a few hits in a 1vs1, you easily save like 20 pots.

I can confirm it works with anything, including bows.

I just had no idea that it was strength dependant. I'm so used to knowing everything at this game =(

                              SagaDev pls!
